Description The course will overview automated reasoning in first-order logic. Both
resolution and non-resolution methods will be considered. The five
lectures will cover the following topics.
1. First-order logic and reasoning
2. Resolution
3. Equality
4. Advanced topics in reasolution-based theorem proving
5. Non-resolution methods.
