Abstract:	We consider some of the issues and trade-offs in computing useful interpolants in practice, including questions of proof search strategy, proof translation vs. local proof and interpolant optimization. These issues are explored empirically using the Duality fixed point engine as a platform and benchmark problems from software model checking.
