UITP 2014 PROCEEDINGS: EDITOR'S PREFACE

This volume contains the proceedings of the 11th International Workshop on User Interfaces for Theorem Provers (UITP 2014) held on 17th of July 2014, in Vienna, Austria.

The UITP workshop series brings together researchers interested in designing, developing and evaluating interfaces for interactive proof systems, such as theorem provers, tools for formal methods, and other tools manipulating and presenting mathematical formulas and proofs. The workshop provides a forum for researchers interested in improving human interaction with deduction systems. 

We are grateful to the UITP 2014 invited speakers, Geoff Sutcliffe (University of Miami) and Enrico Tassi (INRIA). Geoff Sutcliffe presented `The TPTP Process Instruction Language, with Applications' and Enrico Tassi addressed `Asynchronous Processing of Formal Documents in Coq'.

The UITP 2014 Workshop received 10 paper submissions. Each paper was reviewed by at least three referees, and following an online discussion, 8 research papers were selected to be included in the proceedings and presented at the workshop.

We would like to thank all the authors for their submissions and all the members of the Program Committee of UITP 2014 for their professional work in the review process. Furthermore, we are thankful to the Workshop chairs and the Organizing Committee of the Vienna Summer of Logic Conference (VSL 2014). Finally, we are grateful to all active participants at the UITP 2014 Workshop.
