I am a post-doc research and teaching fellow at the Chair for Automata Theory, in the Institute for Theoretical Computer Science at the TU Dresden.

Scientific interests

  • Knowledge representation, in particular Description Logics (DLs),
  • Non-standard inferences in DLs,
  • Implementations of DL reasoning systems.

Research projects I worked in

  • "Semantic Technologies as UPCM Research Method" (STURM) a SAP research funded project on ontology usage.
  • "Thinking ONtologiES" (TONES) a European Union FET project on ontology tasks such as design, integration.
  • "Context Modeling and Reasoning" (ConMoRe) a joint project with the Chair for computer networks of TU Dresden on the evaluation of DL reasoning systems for context modeling and reasoning for context-aware applications. In collaboration with and funded by Siemens.
  • "Non-standard inferences in Description Logics" a project on new inference services for DLs funded by DFG.
